Boosie Badazz’s net worth: What is it?
$2 million is the net worth of Boosie Badazz, also known as Lil Boosie, an American rapper. Boosie Badazz began as a member of Concentration Camp before pursuing a solo career. Some of his hit singles include “Zoom” (featuring Yung Joc), “Wipe Me Down” (featuring Foxx and Webbie), “Better Believe It” (featuring Webbie and Young Jeezy), and “Show Da World” (with Webbie featuring Kiara). His collaboration on the single “Independent” (featuring Lil Phat) topped the US Rap chart.
Early Life
Originally named Torrence Hatch, he was born on November 2, 1982, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Growing up in a perilous neighborhood where law enforcement seldom ventured due to fear, Boosie’s father was a victim of homicide. Boosie turned to rapping at 14 to cope with the violence and instability in his environment.
His Career in Rap
The first album, “Youngest Of Da Camp,” released in 2000, peaked at #96 on the Billboard R&B charts. “For My Thugz” (2002) was his second album. His third album, “Bad Azz” (2006), reached #1 on the Billboard rap charts.
In 2008, Boosie founded his record label, Bad Azz Entertainment. “Incarcerated,” his fourth album, was released while he was incarcerated for drug-related charges. He obtained his GED while in prison and was released in March 2014. He transitioned to Boosie Badazz in the same year. His first album under that name, “Touch Down 2 Cause Hell,” reached high on various charts. Subsequent albums include “BooPac” (2017), “Boosie Blues Cafe” (2018), and “Badazz 3.5” (2019). He also released “Bad Azz Zay” (2019), “Talk Dat Sh*t” (2019), “Goat Talk” (2019), and “In House” (2020). Recently, he dropped “Goat Talk 3” (2021), “Heartfelt” (2022), and in 2023, “First Day Back,” “Best Album of 2023,” and “Goin Thru Some Thangs.” His latest single, “Ungrateful,” critiques his daughter and her mother.

His Personal Life
Boosie has eight children from six different women. Three of his children are with his longtime girlfriend, Walnita Decuir, who faced arrest in 2010 for trying to smuggle drugs to Boosie while he was incarcerated.
Claiming a potential $20 million loss in business opportunities due to his Instagram ban, Boosie announced plans to sue Facebook CEO Mark Zuckerberg in December 2020. He asserted that the ban hindered his deals significantly. On his 38th birthday, November 14, 2020, after attending a vigil for rapper MO3 in Dallas, Boosie sustained a leg injury from a gunshot. Initial reports suggested amputation might be necessary, but Boosie revealed on November 22 that it was unnecessary.
Boosie, currently recovering at home without any amputations, has faced numerous legal issues. In 2010, he was charged with first-degree murder and possession of narcotics, with prosecutors suggesting he might be linked to multiple other murders. Despite being acquitted of the murder charge, he was convicted of the drug charges and received an eight-year prison sentence. Boosie was released in 2014 following a successful argument by his legal team that he had been framed by informants. He was under parole until 2018. Recently, in July 2022, Boosie was caught in a traffic stop and cited for marijuana possession.
Controversies
Boosie faced backlash in February 2020 for making offensive remarks about Dwyane Wade’s transgender daughter. In May 2020, he posted a now-deleted video on Instagram bragging about paying an adult woman to engage in a sexual act with his underage nephew. In October 2021, Boosie stirred controversy once more by posting an anti-gay rant about Lil Nas X on Twitter, urging him to take his own life. The post was later removed by Twitter.*/
